In April 1983, Construction Department No. 966 was established as part of the Nadymdorstroy Trust. The main task of the department was the construction and commissioning of the first stage of the runway. The next main project of CD-966 was the Urengoy — Nadym — Sovetsky highway, Capital Construction Department of Tyumentransgaz was the customer.
On August 12, 2005, by the decision of Alexey Vladimirovich Andreev, Director General of Khanty-Mansiyskdorstroy, OJSC, CD-926, LLC was established on the basis of the existing department. In the shortest possible time, the retrofitting of the department with modern imported road-building machinery and vehicles was carried out, which made it possible to increase the volume of construction and installation work.
Since 2014, a new stage has begun in the history of CD-926 — going beyond the home region — the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District. CD-926 entered the “Reconstruction of 1R 351 Yekaterinburg — Tyumen highway” project on the section near Kamyshlov. This was followed by the “Roadway replacement on R-178 Saransk — Surskoe — Ulyanovsk highway” project in the Ulyanovsk region. The task there was very tough — having started construction in July, by the end of the year it was necessary to deliver 12 kilometers of the finished road. The department dealt with it successfully.
Having retained its sole participation in the construction of roads in Beloyarsky and Beloyarsky district, the construction department was relocated to the Komi Republic. It was entrusted with two projects with a total length of 80 kilometers. In May 2017, the department has got a new project — “Construction of the Kommunistichesky urban-type settlement — Unyugan village highway”, in the Oktyabrsky district of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District with a length of 27 km. On October 3, 2017, the opening ceremony for the Malaya Pera — Irael section of the Syktyvkar — Naryan-Mar interregional road took place in the Komi Republic. The section was commissioned 10 months ahead of schedule.
In 2017, CD-926 underwent major organizational changes. The management made a decision to relocate the headquarters from Beloyarsky to Tyumen with the prospect of further participation in the construction of highways in the Tyumen region, while preserving a separate business unit in the Beloyarsky district of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District-Yugra.
In 2018, two projects were commissioned:
“Construction of the Syktyvkar — Ukhta — Pechora — Usinsk — Naryan-Mar highway on the Irael village — Kadzherom village section” in the Komi Republic, 45.6 km long;
“Roadway replacement on the Yugorsk — Sovetsky — V. Kazym — Nadym highway (to the border of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District) on the Andra — V. Kazym — Nadym section to the border of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District, km 496 — km 511”.
